College basketball delivered one of the most talked-about moments of the week thanks to Spanish point guard Mario Saint-Supéry, who became the center of attention during the Gonzaga Bulldogs’ 65–56 victory over Oregon State in NCAA action.
The play happened when the 19-year-old guard from Málaga was chasing a loose ball near the sideline. Determined to keep the possession alive, Saint-Supéry sprinted at full speed but could not stop his momentum. He ran out of bounds and ended up falling directly onto the group of cheerleaders standing near the edge of the court. The moment was captured by cameras and quickly spread across social media, where thousands of fans shared the unusual and humorous image.
While the incident generated laughs and surprise among fans and commentators, it also reflected the intensity with which the young Spanish player competes in the demanding environment of American college basketball. Saint-Supéry, nicknamed “The Little Prince,” is currently enjoying his first season in the NCAA and has become an interesting piece for the Gonzaga squad.
Developed in the prestigious youth academy of Unicaja Málaga, the talented guard began his professional path in Spain before making the move to the United States. His early career also included stints with teams such as Manresa and Tizona, where he started gaining attention for his talent as a floor general.

At Gonzaga, Saint-Supéry has been showcasing his ability to lead from the point guard position, combining strong court vision, passing ability, and scoring contributions. His performances have been key in several games during the 2025–26 season, establishing him as one of the promising European prospects competing in the NCAA. Beyond the viral moment, Saint-Supéry remains focused on continuing his development and helping Gonzaga compete at the highest level of college basketball.
