Premier Padel Santiago Finals Suspended Due to Heavy Rain
The Premier Padel Santiago P1 finals, originally scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, have been officially postponed due to severe rain in Santiago, Chile. Tournament organizers made the announcement after inspecting the courts and assessing the weather conditions, citing player safety and fan experience as top priorities.
Weather Disruptions Hit the Tour Again
This is not the first time the Premier Padel circuit has faced weather-related interruptions. Just a few weeks ago, the Riyadh Season P1 also saw key matches, including semifinals and finals, postponed due to rain in Saudi Arabia.
In Santiago, adverse conditions began early in the day. Despite multiple attempts to prepare the courts, persistent rainfall made it impossible to continue, leading to the difficult but necessary decision to reschedule the finals.
When Will the Finals Be Played?
The rescheduled finals will take place on Monday, March 31, starting at 5:20 PM ET, and will be broadcast live on beIN SPORTS USA.
