The Intercontinental Cup kicked off in the best way with an epic match between Botafogo (current Libertadores champions) and Pachuca (the CONCACAF champions). The hero for the Mexicans was Moroccan star Oussama Idrissi, who opened the scoring for Pachuca with an amazing goal.

The goal came in the 49th minute, right after halftime, when Pachuca came out determined to score. Idrissi made an incredible solo run, shaking off two Botafogo players in their own box before sending the ball into the Brazilian net.
