The club’s leadership has no plans to bring Cristiano back, just as they dismissed the idea of Sergio Ramos’ return last year despite an injury crisis in the defense. The response from Real Madrid has been clear: the club remains committed to its generational transition and is not considering a reunion with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.

A Nostalgic Dream, But Not a Reality

One of the voices fueling the discussion has been Tomás Roncero, a well-known journalist and Real Madrid fan. He admitted that seeing Cristiano in white again would be "a dream," but also clarified that it was nothing more than a social media rumor. The speculation grew so much that Real Madrid had to issue an internal response, firmly stating that there is no chance of the Portuguese star returning.

The club’s priorities lie in strengthening the squad with young talent to secure long-term success. The idea of bringing back former legends does not fit the current vision of Florentino Pérez and his board. Vinícius Jr., the club’s current number 7, is seen as a key figure in this new era, making it even more unlikely that Cristiano would be considered.

With his contract still active at Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo is focused on finishing his time in Saudi Arabia before deciding on his next steps. Although his competitive level remains high, a return to Real Madrid—even for a short tournament—has been completely ruled out by the club.
