FIFA has announced a historic prize distribution for the first Club World Cup, which will take place from June 14 to July 13 in the United States. The total of 1 billion dollars (approximately 929 million euros) will be distributed among the 32 participating teams, becoming the largest prize pool in the history of a club tournament.

In addition to the direct prizes, FIFA has established the creation of a solidarity fund of 15% of the total amount, allocated to teams that do not participate in the Club World Cup. This fund will be distributed through the six international confederations to mitigate the economic disparities between larger and smaller clubs worldwide.
According to exclusive details provided by MARCA, of the 929 million euros, 500 million will be distributed as a fixed amount among the teams, while the remaining 429 million will be subject to the results obtained during the tournament. 65% of the total amount will be allocated to the 12 European teams, which include major clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG, Bayern Munich, Porto, Atlético Madrid, Juventus, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund, and Red Bull Salzburg. Real Madrid will be the club receiving the most money, with 35 million euros guaranteed.
Tournament format and prize distribution by stage of the Club World Cup
The Club World Cup will be played in a format similar to the World Cup for national teams. The first stage will consist of eight groups of four teams, with the top two from each group advancing to the round of 16. Each team will play three matches, and wins will earn 2 million dollars, while draws will earn 1 million dollars. As the tournament progresses, the amounts will increase significantly.
In the knockout rounds, the prizes increase considerably. Each team advancing to the round of 16 will receive 7 million euros. In the quarterfinals, the amount will rise to 12 million, while semifinalists will receive 20 million. Finalists will receive 28 million euros, and the champion will take home an impressive prize of 37 million euros.
