In the pictures, Ronaldinho can be seen smiling as he enjoys a traditional mate, sitting next to a barbecue with meat roasting on stakes.

Five Years Since His Time in Prison

If you were to ask Ronaldinho whether he’d like to return to Paraguay, he might think twice. The Brazilian spent five months in a Paraguayan prison in 2020 for possession of false public documents.

What was a nightmare for him and his brother finally ended in August 2020, after they paid a $200,000 fine to secure their release.

Today, despite the difficult past, Ronaldinho seems to be enjoying life — a sight that brings joy to many football fans.
