(VIDEO) Video of Lamine Yamal Party Where Filming and Cell Phones Are Forbidden Leaked
Lamine Yamal is officially an adult. The young star of FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team turned 18 years oldthis Saturday and celebrated in grand fashion, surrounded by first-team teammates, influencers, and several artists. Despite a strict no-phone policy, video footage from the party has already surfaced online.
A Highly Anticipated and Leaked Celebration
For weeks, Lamine’s birthday party had been the talk of both the sports and entertainment media. And for good reason: one of the most talked-about footballers in the world was set to celebrate a milestone in style, much like his idol Neymar, just before the start of Barça’s preseason.
The event kicked off at 9:00 PM, an hour later than planned due to a storm system affecting the area. The party took place at an exclusive country house in Olivella, around 50 km from Barcelona, with over 100 guests in attendance. As expected, Lamine was the center of attention all night.
No Phones Allowed… But Videos Emerge
To protect guests' privacy, attendees were told that phones would not be allowed at the party. However, Dominican artist Chimbala, who performed during the event, shared a video on social media showing him on stage with Lamine Yamal, along with Barça teammates Gavi and Alejandro Balde.
Fans quickly reacted to the looks worn by Lamine and Gavi, which drew plenty of attention online for their bold style.
In addition, Lamine himself posted a short, lighthearted video on his Instagram stories around 8:30 AM on Sunday, showing one of his friends asleep in a car clearly feeling the effects of a night that stretched well into the morning.
At midnight sharp, Lamine blew out the candles on his birthday cake, officially marking his transition into adulthood.
Family Time and Back to Work
Before the big party, the young star enjoyed a family lunch at La Cúpula del Garraf restaurant, joined by his closest relatives including his parents and paternal grandmother, Fátima.
But celebrations were short-lived. On Sunday morning, Lamine was expected back at the Ciutat Esportiva in Sant Joan Despí, as FC Barcelona kicked off preseason under new manager Hansi Flick.
Flick was the first to arrive early in the morning, and by 9:00 AM, the birthday boy himself showed up to undergo medical and physical tests along with his first-team teammates, officially beginning preparations for the 2025/26 season.
An Unforgettable Weekend
It was a weekend full of memories for Lamine Yamal — vacation time, family bonding, a star-studded party, and the start of a new season with his boyhood club. The future is now, and Lamine steps into it with his 18th birthday behind him and a world of opportunity ahead.
Happy birthday, Lamine!
