Lamine Yamal Unveils New Look for Barcelona as He Forgets His Controversial Party
Lamine Yamal, recently in the eye of the storm due to off-pitch issues, is now fully focused on Barcelona preseason. The young Spanish star reappeared with a slight change in appearance that drew attention.
FC Barcelona continues its intense preseason work, but this Saturday the spotlight returned to the pitch after a Friday focused on physical and strength training. Coach Hansi Flick had scheduled a double training session for the second-to-last day of the week. Aside from the known absences of Ter Stegen and Diarra, the main headline came from off the field.

New Year, New Look
Lamine showed up to training sporting a fully blonde hairstyle, moving away from the highlights he previously wore. The new look closely resembles the one he had during the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid and sparked comments from teammates.
It’s worth noting that Yamal was recently assigned the iconic No. 10 jersey, replacing the No. 19 he wore last season. The number holds great significance at the club, previously worn by legends like Diego Maradona, Romario, Ronaldinho, and Lionel Messi.
Back to Intense Training
After a few days of vacation, Flick's squad is now fine-tuning all details to defend their LaLiga crown and make a deeper run in the Champions League, a competition they were eliminated from in the semifinals last season.
The team will hold a single training session this Sunday, and Monday will be a day off so the players can rest and spend time with family before Thursday’s trip to Kobe, Japan, where the club will kick off its Asian tour.
Barcelona will face Vissel Kobe, FC Seoul, and finish against Daegu FC before making their official season debut against Mallorca in LaLiga.
Without a doubt, the young Barça talent is starting this new chapter with a fresh style, taking on upcoming challenges with renewed energy and why not, having a little fun to lighten up the training sessions.
