Musiala pens long-term Bayern Munich contract
Bayern Munich have secured the future of one of their star players, with Jamal Musiala signing a new long-term contract.
Jamal Musiala has signed a new contract with Bayern Munich, keeping him with the Bundesliga giants until 2030.
Musiala has been in superb form this season, having scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga, with Bayern eight points clear at the top ahead of Saturday's clash with defending champions Bayer Leverkusen.
The 21-year-old Germany international, who joined Bayern from Chelsea's academy in 2019, has also provided two assists, creating 33 chances overall in the league.
"I took my first steps in professional football here and firmly believe we can achieve something big with this club in the coming years," Musiala said.
"I feel at home both in Munich and at the club with our great fans. We've got a lot of things we want to achieve."
He is the third key Bayern player to extend his deal in February after keeper Manuel Neuer and defender Alphonso Davies, who had been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Musiala had been mooted as a potential target for Manchester City.
