(VIDEO) Segundo Castillo’s Incredible Look as Barcelona SC Coach in Copa Libertadores
Barcelona SC didn’t just impress on the pitch with their 3-0 win over Corinthians in the Copa Libertadores; they also turned heads on the sidelines. Ecuadorian coach Segundo Castillo stole the spotlight by leading his team in an impeccable black-and-white tuxedo, proving that football and elegance can go hand in hand.
Since taking over in 2023, Castillo has shown that his leadership extends beyond tactics. His sharp and polished style has been a talking point before, but this time, he took it to another level. "I feel like I need to match the level of the team and the competition we’re playing in," he said, revealing that his wife helps him pick out his outfits.
‘Sir Second’ Goes Viral
The nickname "Sir Second" quickly took off on social media, with fans and journalists praising his style. But beyond the viral moment, his team backed him up with a dominant performance. Janner Corozo’s brace and Octavio Rivero’s goal put the Ecuadorian side in control of their Libertadores qualifier.

For Castillo, a coach’s appearance is part of the message he sends to his players and the fans. "You have to match the environment you're in. I try to set a good example for my players and the supporters," said the former Ecuador international, who played in both Europe and the Americas before stepping into management.
