Tolima Come From Behind Against O’Higgins to Reach Group Stage
Colombia’s Deportes Tolima defeated Chile’s O’Higgins 2–0 this Wednesday in the second leg of the third qualifying round of the Copa Libertadores, overturning the 1–0 deficit from the first leg to reach the group stage and end the Rancagua side’s dream in the continental tournament.
At the Manuel Murillo Toro Stadium in Ibagué, the goals for the Colombian team came from full-back Junior Hernández and playmaker Juan Pablo “Tatay” Torres, sparking celebrations for Lucas González’s side, who will now wait for the draw to learn their opponents in the group stage.
