PSV Celebrate as Ajax Push for Champions Spot
PSV Eindhoven keep winning after clinching the title, while Ajax close in on a UEFA Champions League place.
The Eredivisie delivered a decisive round as PSV Eindhoven continued their title celebrations and Ajax boosted their hopes of reaching the Champions League.
Already crowned champions, PSV showed no signs of slowing down, securing a 0-2 win over Sparta Rotterdam. Goals from Ricardo Pepi and Ismael Saibari highlighted their dominance throughout the season.
Meanwhile, Ajax delivered a crucial 0-3 victory against Heracles Almelo. Under Óscar García, the team started strong, with Mika Godts opening the scoring and Steven Berghuis adding a brace.
Despite a late red card for Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ajax maintained control and secured an important win. They now sit fifth with 51 points, within touching distance of Champions League qualification spots.
With four matches remaining, the race remains tight. Feyenoord, NEC Nijmegen, and FC Twente are all in contention.
While PSV celebrate their crown, Ajax are building momentum in pursuit of a place among Europe’s elite.
