The Massive Bonus Real Madrid Players Will Receive if They Win the Club World Cup
The new 2025 Club World Cup has not only raised the level of competition but also significantly increased the financial incentives—especially for a club like Real Madrid, which aims to close out the season with another international trophy and a lucrative reward that could benefit both the institution and its players.
€1 Million Per Player if They Lift the Trophy
According to AS, every Real Madrid player—including stars like Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Jr., and Jude Bellingham—will receive a personal bonus of €1 million if they manage to win the tournament on July 13 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. The financial promise has been seen inside the locker room as a clear sign of the club’s ambition in this revamped FIFA competition.
Beyond the prestige, the collective reward is even more eye-catching: if Xabi Alonso's team wins all their remaining matches, the club could earn up to €111.6 million in total. This amount includes round progression prizes, guaranteed earnings for reaching the quarterfinals, and additional rights tied to the competition. So far, they’ve secured €55.16 million, but that number could increase significantly if they continue their winning run.
A Familiar Rival: Borussia Dortmund
Their next challenge is Borussia Dortmund, whom they’ll face this Saturday at 10:00 p.m. ET in the quarterfinals. This isn’t just any opponent—it’s the same team they defeated in the 2023–24 Champions League Final, making this a high-stakes rematch. The German side, now coached by Niko Kovač, arrives hungry for revenge after a narrow win over Monterrey following a tricky group stage.
Meanwhile, Los Blancos come off a narrow victory over Juventus, thanks to a goal from young sensation Gonzalo García, one of the standout players of the tournament. They also hope to have Mbappé fully fit for this crucial showdown.
Driven by Glory… and by Money
With both the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup already added to their trophy cabinet, Real Madrid now prepares to chase yet another title for their illustrious collection. And if they succeed, the celebration won’t just be for sporting glory—it’ll be a financial windfall, too.
