Luka Modric’s New Business Venture Outside Football
Luka Modric, Croatian international and Real Madrid captain, has acquired a 50% stake in Zeppelin Craft Brewery, a well-known craft beer producer in Croatia. The news was confirmed by the Croatian newspaper Vecernji List.
Modric Expands into Business
Based in Bjelovar, about 90 kilometers east of Zagreb, the brewery has gained popularity in Croatia thanks to its innovative approach. Specializing in unpasteurized and unfiltered craft beers, it has received high ratings for its quality. Among the co-owners is former footballer Ivan Babić, who played for clubs such as Zagreb, Cibalia, and Cypriot side Ethnikos.
A Special Edition Beer for Modric?
The mayor of Bjelovar, Dario Hrebak, congratulated the team on social media and praised the beer’s quality. Meanwhile, some media outlets have speculated about the possibility of a special edition beer dedicated to Modric, further strengthening his connection to the brewery.
With this investment, Luka Modric expands his business portfolio, joining a growing list of footballers who have ventured into industries beyond the sport.
