Maximum Concern at Real Madrid Over Images of Jude Bellingham and his Shoulder
Jude Bellingham’s physical condition is once again causing concern at Real Madrid. Recent footage of the English midfielder, visibly struggling with his left shoulder and needing heavy strapping before coming on as a substitute against Getafe, has set off alarm bells among fans and the club’s coaching staff.
The 21-year-old has dealt with shoulder issues since his time at Borussia Dortmund, where he already used a special support during matches. Things took a turn for the worse in November 2023, when he dislocated his shoulder during a match against Rayo Vallecano. Since then, the discomfort hasn’t gone away, and although surgery was expected, the operation never took place.
Real Madrid Deeply Concerned by Footage of Bellingham’s Shoulder Struggles
The incident against Getafe left a clear image: it took more than a minute for the medical staff to get Bellingham ready, fitting him with a complex shoulder brace before he entered the pitch. Despite the visible pain, Bellingham continues to downplay the issue: “I’m still in the sling. It’s a bit uncomfortable, but overall I feel good,” he said recently.

However, fans see things differently. Social media has been flooded with messages urging him to undergo surgery. “He needs that surgery ASAP,” wrote one user. “How long will he keep playing through pain? The club must step in,” added another concerned supporter.
Carlo Ancelotti and his staff now face a tough decision. Bellingham is a vital part of the team’s ambitions in the remainder of the season, including the battle for the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey final, and the FIFA Club World Cup. These tight schedules make it difficult to find a suitable time for surgery, which would sideline him for several weeks.
For now, the Englishman continues to play, but the looming need for surgery remains unresolved. Real Madrid is walking a fine line, and each game Bellingham plays could be a greater risk than they’re willing to admit. Could this summer be the moment to finally take action and resolve the issue once and for all? A decision must be made soon.
