Mbappé Shines with Real Madrid and Warns: "The Adaptation is Over"
French forward Kylian Mbappé scored his first hat-trick with Real Madrid in a 3-0 victory against Valladolid, strengthening the team's lead in LaLiga. After the match, the striker confirmed that his adaptation period is over and that he now plays with complete ease.
"From the first day I arrived, I said I could play in all three attacking positions and that I needed to adapt. And now you can see it. The adaptation is over, and I feel great. You can see it on the field; everything comes naturally," Mbappé told Realmadrid TV.
The Frenchman also expressed gratitude to Vinícius Jr. and Rodrygo, who recently stated they wanted to help him win the top scorer award. "I appreciate their words, but I also have to help them and the team so that Real Madrid wins. If I finish as the top scorer, that's great—I've done it many times in my career—but the most important thing is winning titles," he said.
With this victory, Real Madrid extended their lead at the top of the standings to four points, taking advantage of Atlético de Madrid's 1-1 draw against Villarreal. "It was a very important win because we were under pressure after Atlético’s result. We started well with a great collective play, and in the second half, we secured the victory," Mbappé explained.
Despite their advantage in the standings, the Madrid striker remains cautious. "This gives us confidence, but we know nothing is decided until matchday 38. We must keep winning with confidence and humility because there are still many games left," he warned.
Finally, Mbappé spoke about Real Madrid's next match against Brest, a team he knows well from his time in Ligue 1. "I know it will be a tough game. Playing in France against a team like this is always challenging, but we are ready," he concluded.
