Pedri Brings the Best News to Barcelona
The Barcelona midfielder missed the last match against Valencia due to digestive issues but is now back in action.
Barcelona midfielder Pedro González 'Pedri,' who missed the last LaLiga EA Sports match against Valencia due to gastroenteritis, returned to training with the team on Monday.
Pedri joined the rest of the available squad members in a recovery session led by coach Hansi Flick at the Joan Gamper Training Center. This followed the team’s emphatic 7-1 victory over Valencia at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
The squad will train again on Tuesday at the Sant Joan Despí facilities to prepare for their upcoming UEFA Champions League clash against Italian side Atalanta.
After the session, Flick and a player will address the media in a pre-match press conference ahead of the final group stage match. Barcelona enters the game with a chance to finish first in their group, a goal they can achieve with a win at home against Atalanta, provided Liverpool loses to PSV in Eindhoven.
