Barca ready for silverware challenge on three fronts, says Flick
LaLiga leaders Barcelona are also in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, as well as the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Hansi Flick says Barcelona are ready to embrace the "great challenge" of competing for silverware on three fronts for the remainder of the season.
The Blaugrana sit three points clear at the LaLiga summit with 10 games remaining, ahead of facing Girona on Sunday.
It will be the first of six matches in the space of 17 days across all competitions for Flick's side, who play Atletico Madrid in the second leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final in midweek.
A Champions League quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund is also on the horizon for Barca, who beat Osasuna 3-0 on Thursday in their first game back after the international break.
Flick knows the busy schedule will be a tough test of his players' credentials, but has urged them to take it in their stride.
"You never know that [recovery time], even when you have one or two more days to recover," he told reporters during his pre-match press conference.
"It will undoubtedly be a great challenge that awaits us from now until the end of the season.
"We're ready and want to fight until the end of the season. I have a feeling that we're all very proud of the match against Osasuna.
"I'm focused on the next game. We have a lot of games ahead. There are 10 games left [in LaLiga], and it's important to win game after game. The rest of the season will get shorter and more difficult for the other teams."
