"Some doubted Sergio Ramos due to his inactivity and age, but he has proven why he has such an illustrious international career. He's the magician, and he shows it with every appearance," said Demichelis about the former Real Madrid player.

The Argentine coach emphasized the drive that Ramos brings to Monterrey, noting that at 38 years old, he continues to show his quality on the field. Since joining the Mexican side, the defender has scored two goals. The first came in a 4-2 win over Santos Laguna, and today's goal, from a corner kick, gave Monterrey the lead. With 16 points in the Clausura tournament, Monterrey sits in ninth place after 11 matchdays.
