Frank Magri Rescues Toulouse with Last-Minute Equalizer Against Monaco

Cameroonian Frank Magri lifted the spirits of his coach, Spaniard Carles Martínez, and Toulouse, which avoided defeat in stoppage time (1-1) and frustrated Monaco, which had victory in its grasp but now sees its Ligue 1 Champions League spot in jeopardy.
Toulouse Keeps Up the Momentum
Carles Martínez’ side avoided defeat in the 91st minute when Frank Magri beat Radoslaw Majecki after receiving a pass from Aron Donnum. It was a well-earned reward for the home team, which had been trailing since the 15th minute after Japan’s Takumi Minamino put Monaco ahead with a goal assisted by Denmark’s Mika Biereth.
Austrian coach Adi Hütter's squad continues to struggle with consistency, unable to secure back-to-back wins. Currently fourth in the standings, Monaco holds the last Champions League qualification spot, just three points ahead of Lille, which will visit Montpellier on Saturday before facing Borussia Dortmund in its European clash.
