Two More Goals from Hakimi with PSG: Is He the Best Right-Back in the World?
The Moroccan full-back was the star of PSG in their latest victory against Olympique Lyonnais.
PSG secured a new win last night against Olympique Lyonnais thanks to the brilliant performance of an unexpected hero: Achraf Hakimi, who recently renewed his contract until 2029. The Moroccan player was the star who illuminated PSG's victory by scoring a brace and raising the question of whether, right now, he is the best right-back in the world.

Hakimi's best season with PSG
Additionally, Hakimi's two goals came at key moments for PSG. The first helped break the 0-0 draw after halftime with a precise shot, capitalizing on a backward pass from Bradley Barcelona. The second, in the final minutes, saw him enter the box and finish with quality after a great collective play.
Thanks to these two goals, Achraf Hakimi now has five goals this season with PSG, matching his tally from the previous two seasons and one more than he scored in the 2021/22 season when he arrived from Inter Milan at the Parc des Princes for 68 million euros.
No full-back surpasses Hakimi's numbers
In addition to these goals, Hakimi has also provided 10 assists. The highest number of assists he has ever registered as a PSG player... and in his entire career. If he provides one more assist, he will surpass the numbers he achieved during his loan season at Borussia Dortmund when he was still a player for Real Madrid.
In total, Hakimi has been involved in 15 goals this season. These numbers make him the third-highest goal contributor for PSG this season, behind only Dembélé (29) and Barcola (26). No right-back in Europe comes close to these figures.
