Ciro Immobile Announces His Retirement From Soccer
Una de las grandes figuras del futbol italiano de los últimos años pone punto final a su carrera. Ciro Immobile anunció su retiro como futbolista profesional a los 36 años, cerrando una trayectoria marcada por los goles, los récords y su inolvidable etapa con la Lazio.
Su último club, el Paris FC, confirmó la decisión del delantero italiano, quien se despide después de disputar 599 partidos a nivel de clubes y marcar 306 goles.
Con la Selección de Italia, Immobile disputó 57 encuentros y consiguió 17 anotaciones. Además, formó parte de la generación que conquistó la Eurocopa 2020, derrotando a Inglaterra en la final disputada en Wembley.

He also won the European Golden Shoe in the 2019-20 season after scoring 36 goals in Serie A, matching the record at the time for most goals in a single season in the Italian top flight.
