PSG looks for first win of Ligue 1 campaign on the road at Lille

In an unusual turn, PSG has found that the start of the season hasn't gone all the team's way for once. That will need to be rectified in a testing away match at Lille on Friday on beIN SPORTS.

Although PSG won the UEFA European Super Cup, the team lost the Trophée des Champions to Lens before needing a late double strike from Ferran Torres in a 2-2 draw at Rennes.

PSG Faces Another Road Test

PSG is back on the road on Friday and facing Lille. Both teams are set to take to the field having experienced big departures during the week in the transfer window. Lille's now former Moroccan midfielder, Ayyoub Bouaddi, has moved to Manchester City in a deal that could be worth up to $100 million. Bradley Barcola is set to be joining Liverpool, while Luis Enrique has said that the 'essential' Ousmane Dembelé will be rested for the Lille trip.

This gives a chance for both the World Cup winning Torres to take another starring role for PSG along with the gifted summer signing Maghnes Akliouche.

Lille Looks to Build on Winning Start

Lille began its Ligue 1 campaign with a 2-0 win at Angers and might fancy its chances of catching PSG still getting into gear in the new Ligue campaign.
