Lille vs Lens: When and Where to Watch

Lille host Lens on Friday, October 30, at 3:55 PM ET, at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Matchday 9 of Ligue 1. The 124th Derby du Nord will be broadcast LIVE on beIN SPORTS.

Friday's showdown brings together two teams with lofty ambitions this season. Lille sit third in the standings, while Lens occupy seventh place, just two points behind their northern rivals.

How Are Lille Coming Into the Match?

Lille will be counting on their impressive home record against Lens, having won 10 of their last 11 home meetings with their regional rivals. However, the hosts are looking to get back on track after consecutive Ligue 1 draws against Brest and Monaco.

Defeats to Arsenal and Galatasaray in the Champions League have added to their recent frustrations, making the Derby du Nord an opportunity to regain momentum in front of their home supporters.

Among Lille's attacking options is Ethan Mbappé, younger brother of Kylian Mbappé, who could play a role in one of the club's most anticipated fixtures of the season.

How Are Lens Coming Into the Match?

Lens arrive in excellent form after winning three consecutive Ligue 1 matches, a run that has helped them recover from a slow start and climb to seventh place.

With only two points separating the teams, a victory at Stade Pierre-Mauroy would see Lens overtake Lille in the standings and strengthen their push toward the European qualification places.

The visitors also feature Thorgan Hazard, younger brother of former Real Madrid star Eden Hazard. His presence adds another familiar name to a rivalry fueled by the close proximity of two cities separated by only around half an hour by road.
