Agüero Blesses the Arrival of his Best Partner to Inter Miami to Dominate the MLS Alongside Messi
Sergio Agüero acknowledged his desire to see Kevin De Bruyne play for Inter Miami alongside Leo Messi
During the 10 seasons he defended the jersey of Manchester City between 2011 and 2021, Kun Agüero benefited from the talent of all his teammates to ultimately settle as the club's all-time top scorer with 260 goals. However, above the rest stands Kevin De Bruyne, with whom he shared a locker room at the Etihad Stadium for six seasons… and whose signing he has blessed to form an unstoppable duo alongside Leo Messi at Inter Miami.

The painful departure of Kevin De Bruyne from Manchester City
Several weeks ago, Kevin De Bruyne surprised everyone by issuing a statement on his social media announcing that, at the end of the season, he will not renew his contract to stay with Manchester City. However, a few days later, he clarified that he never wanted to leave Manchester City. He simply understood that if they hadn't offered him a renewal throughout the season, it meant the club's intention was for him to leave.
"It was a little bit of a shock because there was no offer from Manchester City all year. Obviously, I was a little surprised. But I have to accept it," he told Aadam Patel in an interview for ‘Mail Sport’. He also confessed, “I still think I can perform at this level. But I understand that clubs have to make decisions,” referring to the possibility of continuing his career in Europe.
Agüero hopes to see the Messi-De Bruyne duo at Inter Miami
Now, according to information that has come to light in recent weeks, the most likely scenario is that Kevin De Bruyne will leave the Old Continent to explore more exotic options. In the MLS, there are certainly many teams 'crazy' to secure his signing. Among them is Inter Miami… although the salary cap complicates a possible move to the Chase Stadium.
Regardless of these circumstances, Kun Agüero would be thrilled to see Leo Messi receiving the fantastic passes that he once got from Kevin De Bruyne at Manchester City: “I’ve read something along those lines, but there’s still nothing official. I guess a lot of people want him to play for their teams. We’ll see what happens soon. If it’s Inter Miami, I think De Bruyne will make a very good pair with Leo (Messi),” he confessed in an interview for ‘Stake’.
