Legia Warsaw Finally Wake Up! Dominant Win Over Kielce Ends Drought
Legia Warsaw secured their first victory of the 2025/26 PKO BP Ekstraklasa season with a commanding 2-0 win away at Korona Kielce on Matchday 2. Goals from Jean-Pierre Nsame and Migouel Alfarela sealed the three points for the capital club.
Powerful Header Breaks the Deadlock
The visitors came out strong and wasted no time. In the 9th minute, Migouel Alfarela delivered a pinpoint cross that Nsame met with a thunderous header into the back of the net, giving Legia an early 1-0 lead.
Despite some promising moments from Korona Kielce, including a solid effort by Nikodem Niski, Legia remained composed at the back, with Kacper Tobiasz showing confidence between the posts.

Alfarela’s Screamer Seals the Game
Just moments into the second half, Alfarela capped off his impressive night with a stunning strike from outside the box. His right-footed rocket in the 47th minute flew into the top corner, putting Legia ahead 2-0 and silencing the home crowd.
Korona pushed late on—Remacle struck the post and forced a couple of saves—but couldn't find a way back.
Legia Control the Final Stretch
With nine minutes of stoppage time, Legia Warsaw stayed in control and closed out the match without trouble. After drawing their season opener, this victory gives them their first three points and a much-needed confidence boost.
