Manchester United Sinks at Home Against Nottingham Forest
Manchester United suffered a 2-3 defeat to Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford, marking their second loss in just three days. Defensive errors and a major blunder by André Onana on the second goal sealed the fate of the Red Devils, who struggled to take control of the match throughout.
Milenkovic put Forest ahead in the very first minute, but Rasmus Højlund responded with a goal in the 17th minute to bring United level. Despite that promising moment, the home team lost focus and allowed Forest to regain control.
Onana and the Defense Under Fire
In the second half, a soft goal conceded by Onana on a routine shot from Gibbs-White, followed by a powerful header from Chris Wood, sealed United's fate. Although Bruno Fernandes delivered a stunning goal in the 60th minute, the comeback never materialized.
United now sits in 13th place, leaving Ruben Amorim with plenty of issues to address. Meanwhile, Forest climbs to fifth, solidifying their position in the race for European spots.
