Since BlueCo took control of the club in 2022, the Blues have spent over £1 billion on signings and have gone thru nine different managers. The last coach to manage two consecutive campaigns was Antonio Conte, between 2016 and 2018, during which they also won their last Premier League.
A constantly moving team
Fofana arrived from Leicester City in August 2022 for £75 million, although injuries limited his participation in his early years. Last season, however, he played 38 matches and established himself as a key player. His case symbolizes the need for continuity in a club that has not stopped making moves, in the current transfer window, they added ten reinforcements, including Jordan Henderson and Danny Welbeck, as well as young players like Morgan Rogers and Maxence Lacroix.
