Pulisic to miss Milan's clash with Juventus
Christian Pulisic is AC Milan's top scorer in all competitions this season, but the Rossoneri must do without him when they face Juventus.
Sergio Conceicao confirmed Christian Pulisic will miss AC Milan's blockbuster Serie A showdown with Juventus on Saturday.
Pulisic is the Rossoneri's top scorer this season with 10 goals across all competitions, including a penalty in their Supercoppa Italiana victory over the Bianconeri earlier this month.
However, the United States international will not be available to face Juve in Serie A, after a knock forced him off at half-time during Tuesday's win over Como.
Nevertheless, Conceicao insisted it is more of a precaution to prevent the midfielder from aggravating his problem, having not long returned from a calf injury.
"Pulisic is out, I don't want to bluff," the Milan boss told reporters during his pre-match press conference.
"He still has some discomfort, I don't want to risk it. It's nothing serious, but if he plays 20 minutes, he risks making his situation worse, and I don't want that."
Seventh-place Milan, who are unbeaten in their last eight matches across all competitions, can leapfrog Juve to fifth with victory at San Siro.
"There is balance, they are two strong teams," Conceicao added. "Two teams that have very interesting players, but all the matches are different. Tomorrow, we have to face a team that played a good match against Atalanta [drawing 1-1 on Tuesday].
"We are working on small things that, for me, are big things. But we have little time, there are many matches - important ones. Up to the beginning of February, we play in the Champions League, the league and the Coppa Italia."
