Mohamed Salah finally made his Trabzonspor debut, coming off the bench during the second half against Kasımpaşa on the opening matchday of the Süper Lig season.

The Egyptian started on the bench and watched his new team take the lead before halftime. Saviolo opened the scoring for Trabzonspor, with Salah smiling and applauding the goal from the sideline.

The situation changed after the break. Adrian Benedyczak equalized from the penalty spot in the 55th minute, and just three minutes later Salah got his opportunity.

Salah enters in the 58th minute

Salah replaced Metehan Mimaroğlu in the 58th minute and quickly tried to use one of his biggest weapons: his pace.

The Egyptian looked to take on defenders and create space from wide areas while also trying to connect with Paul Onuachu.

On one occasion, Salah delivered a dangerous cross toward the striker, but Onuachu was unable to make contact.

Salah also had an opportunity to score his first Trabzonspor goal. A ball made its way through to the Egyptian, who connected with his effort but sent it over the crossbar.

Salah nearly creates a goal from a free kick

The former Liverpool star also took responsibility from set pieces during his first minutes with the Turkish club.

Salah stepped up to take a free kick and delivered a dangerous cross into the box that nearly resulted in Trabzonspor's second goal.

While he was unable to celebrate a goal on his debut, Salah created danger with his pace, looked for Onuachu with his crosses and had an opportunity of his own to score.

Those were Mohamed Salah's first minutes in a Trabzonspor shirt in the Süper Lig.
