Fenerbahçe Thrash Başakşehir to Stay in the Title Race

Fenerbahçe's goals came from Mert Müldür in the 44th minute, Milan Skriniar in the 60th, En-Nesyri in the 87th, and Oğuz Aydın in stoppage time (90+4'). Başakşehir’s only goal came from Ömer Faruk Beyaz in the 90+1 minute.
Earlier in the match, Krzysztof Piatek missed a crucial penalty for Başakşehir in the 20th minute, which could have changed the game’s momentum.
With this result, Fenerbahçe move up to 78 points, cutting the gap to league leaders Galatasaray to five points, although having played one more game. Başakşehir, meanwhile, remain at 51 points, still in the hunt for a European qualification spot.
In the next round of the Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe will host Eyüpspor, while Rams Başakşehir will travel to face Kasımpaşa.
