Galatasaray secured the Trendyol Süper Lig title with a dominant 3-0 win over Bellona Kayserispor at RAMS Park, with two matchdays left in the season.
Osimhen and Barış Alper Seal the Win Early
On Matchday 36, Galatasaray showed no signs of slowing down. The home side opened the scoring in the 26th minute when Victor Osimhen headed in a corner delivered by Sara, marking his return to the scoresheet. Just three minutes later, Barış Alper Yılmaz doubled the lead with a sharp finish inside the box after a headed assist from Lucas Torreira.
Despite efforts from Kayserispor, Fernando Muslera was solid in goal, denying clear chances and maintaining the clean sheet.
Muslera Scores From the Spot to Seal the Title
In the final minutes, Álvaro Morata was brought down by Bilal Bayazit inside the box. Following a VAR review, the referee awarded a penalty to Galatasaray, and surprisingly, Muslera stepped up and scored the third goal of the night in the 89th minute.
With this result, Galatasaray reached 89 points and officially clinched the league championship. Bellona Kayserispor remains at 44 points and will aim to bounce back in their upcoming match.
