How and Where to Watch: Samsunspor vs Trabzonspor Live on beIN SPORTS
Samsunspor hosts a Trabzonspor side returning to Süper Lig action with momentum after its emphatic victory over Galatasaray and Mohamed Salah’s remarkable start to the season.
Samsunspor and Trabzonspor meet on Saturday, October 10, on Matchday 7 of the 2026-27 Süper Lig. The match will be played at the Samsun Yeni 19 Mayıs Stadyumu in Samsun, with kickoff scheduled for 9:00 AM ET / 6:00 AM PT. Fans in the United States can watch the game LIVE on beIN SPORTS CONNECT.
How Samsunspor Comes Into the Match
Samsunspor returns from the international break in a difficult position. After six matches, the club has four points and sits 16th in the Süper Lig, inside the relegation zone.
The biggest concern is its recent form. Samsunspor enters the weekend on a run of four consecutive league defeats. Its final match before the break ended in a 1-0 away loss against Erzurumspor, with Miguel Cardoso scoring the only goal just before halftime.
A response is now urgently needed. After opening the campaign with a 3-3 draw against Göztepe and then earning a 2-0 victory over Çaykur Rizespor, the team quickly lost ground and now faces one of the league's most dangerous attacking sides.
How Trabzonspor Comes Into the Match
Trabzonspor arrives in a completely different mood. Thomas Reis’ team sits seventh with 10 points and went into the international break after producing a stunning 4-0 victory over reigning champion Galatasaray.
Mohamed Salah was the star of the night, scoring a hat trick and providing an assist. The Egyptian has now scored seven goals in his first six Süper Lig appearances, immediately establishing himself as one of the biggest stories of the season.
The victory was particularly significant for a Trabzonspor side that had shown some inconsistency earlier in the campaign. It will now look for back-to-back league wins and attempt to build on its strongest performance so far.
Thomas Reis Faces His Former Club
Saturday's match also carries an additional storyline for Thomas Reis. The German coach spent the previous two seasons in charge of Samsunspor before recently taking over at Trabzonspor, meaning he returns to face a club he knows extremely well.
From a results perspective, most of the immediate pressure is on the hosts. Samsunspor needs to stop a four-game losing streak, while Trabzonspor will be looking to prove that its emphatic win over Galatasaray can become a turning point.
