Haaland Ends His Drought Against Madrid

Erling Haaland finally broke his scoring drought against Real Madrid, netting a crucial goal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League knockout stage against Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

The goal came in the 19th minute after a brilliant link-up with Jack Grealish, who delivered a pinpoint cross to Joško Gvardiol. The Croatian defender controlled the ball with his chest inside the box and set it up perfectly for the Norwegian striker, who smashed it home without mercy. 

With this goal, Haaland found the net against Real Madrid for the first time in his career, after four previous encounters without scoring.
