Brahim's Message to Simeone After His Goal Against Atlético de Madrid
Brahim Díaz dedicated some words to Simeone after scoring the winning goal for Real Madrid
Before the match against Atlético de Madrid, there were many doubts about who would be the substitute for Jude Bellingham in Real Madrid after their last defeat against Betis. However, Carlo Ancelotti chose to trust Brahim Díaz again, to the surprise of Simeone, and he ended up being the player who gave Real Madrid the victory… with a message to Simeone included.

What did Brahim say to Simeone?
The goal Brahim scored could have been the work of Leo Messi himself. He received the ball in the area, made a couple of maneuvers, and placed his shot into the bottom corner, making it impossible for Oblak to stretch and save. Santiago Bernabéu erupted in joy to celebrate the goal… and Brahim climbed into the stands to celebrate with the fans.
However, the story didn’t end there. Later, Brahim approached the bench to celebrate with Ancelotti… while he started heading toward the Atlético de Madrid bench, taunting Simeone. “Talk now,” the cameras broadcasting the match caught him saying. However, neither of the two protagonists wanted to address this incident.
Simeone’s words about Brahim before the match
Everything goes back to the day before the match between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid, where Simeone was asked how he thought Ancelotti would respond to Bellingham’s absence: “They will try to compensate for the position with Camavinga, Modric, and Tchouaméni. They also have the option of Brahim… but I don’t think so, because there’s a pattern that repeats itself, and they will probably play this way.”
Perhaps, Simeone was trying to mislead Ancelotti to put some pressure on him in preparation for the match. However, Ancelotti chose Brahim again as Bellingham’s replacement… and he ended up proving him right by scoring the winning goal, giving Real Madrid a slight advantage going into their next match at the Metropolitano.
