Kun Agüero, who left an indelible mark on Manchester City, scored 47 goals in Europe’s premier competition. However, Haaland has managed to surpass that milestone in just three years with the “Citizens,” reaching 49 goals after his standout performance against Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

How Did the Brace Break the Record?

Haaland’s first goal came in the 19th minute, following a brilliant team play. Jack Grealish delivered a precise pass to Joško Gvardiol, who controlled the ball with his chest and laid it perfectly for the Norwegian to fire and open the scoring.
