Kyle Walker a Doubt for Real Madrid Clash
Trouble for Manchester City as one of their key players could be in danger of missing the first leg of the Champions League against Real Madrid.
Kyle Walker, the right-back for Manchester City, is doubtful for the first leg of the Champions League tie against Real Madrid after team doctors said he won't make it in time.
However, Pep Guardiola, the coach of the 'Sky Blues', is more optimistic about the situation with his right-back.
"The doctors have said he won't make it, but Kyle is Kyle and he has special genetics. The doctor told me it's quite serious, but Kyle is Kyle," Guardiola said before facing Aston Villa.
Walker was injured during England's friendly against Brazil with a hamstring problem.
The Englishman was not included in the squad against Arsenal or Aston Villa, and he faces a tough challenge to play this Saturday against Crystal Palace and on April 9th against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Walker joins a list of injured players that also includes Nathan Aké and Ederson Moraes, in addition to John Stones, who is expected to return against Villa.
