PSG vs Liverpool: "It's One Of The Best Matches You Can Watch in Europe"
Luis Enrique spoke to the media to analyze everything that could unfold in the tie between PSG and Liverpool
The matchup between Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid has garnered much of the media spotlight in this first leg of the Champions League Round of 16. However, the feeling is that the highest-level tie will be between PSG and Liverpool. Luis Enrique is clear about it: "It's one of the best matches you can watch in Europe."

Luis Enrique calls for the Parc des Princes
Luis Enrique never speaks empty words… especially not before such an important match in the development of PSG's season. Liverpool earned their place as the best team in the first phase, achieving seven wins in eight matches. PSG, however, had to go through the 'playoff' phase, where they crushed Brest and confirmed themselves as serious contenders for their first Champions League title.
Luis Enrique is aware that the tie will be long, and everything will be decided at Anfield. For this reason, he encouraged PSG's fans to fill the Parc des Princes to give the team the necessary boost in the first match: "We are happy to see that the people have faith in our team; a few months ago it was more difficult, but our fans have always believed in us."
Luis Enrique praised Slot's work at Liverpool
Luis Enrique, moreover, praised the fantastic work of Arne Slot in his first season at Liverpool after Klopp's departure: "The work of Arne Slot could be difficult to improve on compared to Klopp's, but he managed to create almost a perfect team. It also motivates us to show that we are up to the task. Our stats are on par with any other team."
At this point, Luis Enrique is still thinking about what the ideal lineup will be to face Liverpool. However, he insists that all players are important at PSG: "It’s difficult for some players who deserve to play but won’t. But we are a collective, sometimes the substitutes are the most important. Tomorrow, I could put four or five players in and we wouldn't see a difference."
