Vinícius Denies Receiving an Offer from Saudi Arabia
Brazilian forward Vinícius Júnior of Real Madrid has firmly denied rumors about a potential offer from Saudi Arabia. The player clarified that he has not received any proposal and expressed his desire to stay with the club for a long time.
Strong Denial of the Rumors
Vinícius assured that he has no knowledge of any offer coming from Saudi Arabia. "I don’t know anything about that offer. They haven’t spoken to me yet. They need to talk to the president. I hope I can stay here for a long time. This is my home. I want to make history here," he said in an interview with Movistar+.
Criticism of Referees and Reaction to Manchester City Fans
During his interview, the player also took the opportunity to criticize the treatment he receives from referees regarding fouls. According to the Brazilian, whenever he gets kicked, he’s the one who ends up getting a yellow card, although he admitted that he’s "not a saint" and always tries to "win by any means."
Furthermore, he reacted to a banner from Manchester City fans in support of Rodri after his victory in the Ballon d'Or over Vinícius. The banner called the Real Madrid players "crybabies" and featured an Oasis song. In response, the Brazilian commented: "I see it, but every time opposing fans do things like that, they give me more strength to play a great game. Here, I played another great match, and we were able to win."
