Vinícius Jr. And His Renewal With Real Madrid: "Florentino Pérez Trusts Me And I Trust Him"
Vinícius spoke again about his renewal with Real Madrid in an interview with ‘TNT Sports’ ahead of the match against Atlético de Madrid
The renewal of Vinícius Jr. with Real Madrid has been a hot topic for months. Yesterday, he was the one accompanying Carlo Ancelotti in the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Atlético de Madrid, and a few hours later, an interview with ‘TNT Sports’ was published, in which he had no reservations about talking about his future.

Vinícius speaks again about his renewal
Yesterday, Vinícius sent a clear message to all Real Madrid fans, assuring that his dream is to continue at the Santiago Bernabéu: “I’m very calm because I have a contract until June 2027, and I can’t wait to renew it. Real Madrid is the best place to be. I play with the best players in the world, and I’m happy about that.”
In the same vein was the interview with Vinícius on ‘TNT Sports’. He even talked about his cordial relationship with Florentino Pérez in managing this situation: “The renewal will soon be finalized. I have a contract until 2027. There’s still time. We don’t need to rush things. Florentino trusts me, and I trust him. I trust everyone who is part of this club. I’m here to give it my all for them.”
The issue with Vinícius' renewal with Real Madrid
Again, some strong statements about Vinícius’ plans: either continue with Real Madrid… or continue with Real Madrid. However, the agreement still seems far from being finalized, and according to information from ‘Diario AS’, all parties involved in this negotiation have agreed to meet again once the season ends after the Club World Cup.
The main issue delaying Vinícius' renewal with Real Madrid is the salary. Right now, Vinícius is the highest-paid player on the team, alongside Kylian Mbappé. Both earn 15 million euros per season. However, Mbappé also received a hefty signing bonus when joining Real Madrid, which places his real salary well above what Vinícius earns.
