Lucas Torreira Warns Ahead of the Galatasaray vs. Barcelona Match
Lucas Torreira highlighted the difficulty of facing Barcelona and assured that Galatasaray will fight to the maximum in Istanbul to give their fans a great night
Galatasaray's Uruguayan midfielder, Lucas Torreira, said on Monday, at the press conference ahead of the match between his team and Barcelona on Matchday 2 of the Champions League, that the Blaugrana are "one of the best teams in the world."
Confidence in Galatasaray's strength
"I have a lot of experience, but I haven't played much in Spain. I haven't played against Barcelona. Barcelona is one of the best teams in the world right now. They're a very tough opponent, but so are we," explained the Uruguayan international.
"Happy to be playing for the national team again" during the last international break, Torreira recalled that "all Champions League matches are tough" and predicted a "good game" on the pitch at the Ali Sami Yen Stadium in Istanbul
"We'll fight to the fullest. We'll give it our all. We'll wait for them to make mistakes and try to take advantage of them. We'll do everything we can against a great team like Barcelona .
