Mbappé and Bellingham Included in Madrid Squad for City Clash
Real Madrid received a boost ahead of their Champions League clash against Manchester City as Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham were included in the squad traveling to England.
Real Madrid received positive news ahead of their trip to England: Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham have both been included in the squad for the second leg against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.
Mbappé’s return is particularly important for coach Álvaro Arbeloa, as the French forward is the team’s leading scorer. However, the coaching staff plans to manage his minutes carefully, easing him back into action unless the match situation at the Etihad Stadium becomes complicated.
Bellingham’s inclusion is also notable. While the English midfielder will travel with the team, he is not expected to play a large number of minutes, as he is still working toward full fitness.
Another player traveling with the squad is Álvaro Carreras, giving Madrid additional options at left-back alongside Fran García, who impressed in the recent match against Elche CF and is likely to start. In defense, Madrid welcome back David Alaba, although Raúl Asencio remains unavailable.
Arbeloa has once again turned to the club’s academy, calling up several young players following their encouraging performances recently. Among them are Fran González, Diego Aguado, Mario Rivas, Cestero, Thiago Pitarch, Manuel Ángel and Palacios.
Real Madrid will still be without several key players due to injury, including Éder Militão, Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo and Dani Ceballos.
