The ‘Option B’ for Ancelotti to Coach Brazil that Could Seal Neymar’s Fate
Brazil is considering signing Jorge Jesus if Carlo Ancelotti decides to stay at Real Madrid
The humiliating defeat of Argentina at El Monumental is still making waves, even though the FIFA Date has ended, and the rumors about who will succeed Dorival Junior on Brazil's bench grow every day. It's no secret that Carlo Ancelotti is the favorite. However, the CBF is also considering different candidates... and the 'Option B' could seal Neymar's fate.

Jorge Jesus is the alternative to Ancelotti
The names of Abel Ferreira and Filipe Luis are also on the table. Two fairly young coaches who are expected to end the generational shift in Brazil's benches. However, the delicate situation of the national team requires a man with proven experience, and right now, the alternative to Carlo Ancelotti would be Jorge Jesus, the current coach of Al-Hilal.
At 70 years old, it’s true that he could be considered a rather mistreated coach whose work has even been undervalued. With a history in clubs such as Sporting Braga, Benfica, Sporting CP, or Flamengo, he has always won titles wherever he has gone. Last season, in fact, he won the Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal without losing a single game in the entire championship.
“Neymar prioritizes his private life”
He did it, moreover, without needing to count on Neymar throughout the whole season. However, there are voices that suggest Jorge Jesus had some conflicts with Neymar before returning to Santos last winter transfer window after linking with Al-Hilal, where he barely played seven matches due to a serious knee injury.
“He’s extraordinary. A very easy-going, sweet, and understanding guy. However, I think he is the opposite of Ronaldo. Ronaldo has more passion for football, and Neymar prioritizes his private life,” Jorge Jesus commented a few months ago. Therefore, if the CBF is negotiating with Jorge Jesus to secure his services after his contract with Al-Hilal ends in June, it’s very possible that we may never see Neymar again wearing the Brazil jersey.
