The future stars of the world's fastest growing sport - Mixed Martial Arts - will be streamed pay-per-view LIVE on beIN SPORTS CONNECT at HEX Fight Series 28, from Melbourne's Festival Hall, on Saturday.
Considered Australia's premiere MMA event, HEX Fight Series has unearthed some of the sport's biggest stars, including household UFC name Israel Adesanya, who lit up Hex FS 12 with a roundhouse knockout of Stu Dare.
HEX FS 28's main event sees Jonthan Micallef put his five-bout winning streak to the test against compatriot and submission specialist Joseph Luciano.
Of keen interest to Australian viewers will be the octagon debut of AFL legend Brendan Fevola, who swaps cleats for gloves to do battle with fan competition-winner Tony 'The Tradie' Ciccone.
"I thought I might as well try something that I haven't done before," Fevola said in a radio interview. "Now I'm wondering if I've made the right decision?
"But if you want the chance to fight me, go for it ... I am training, so look out!"
Fevola an Ciccone will join 20 other up-and-coming MMA stars on a stacked night of combat fighting.

Why isn't Brendan Fevola's fight listed on the card?
The iconic AFL star's fight is a 'promotional' fight, rather than a 'professional fight' so it isn't listed on the official card. It will be the 'ninth' fight on the night.
