Marko Stamenic, Swansea City - Championship
Stamenic is a combative, athletic central midfielder who combines defensive work with a willingness to drive forward. He covers ground relentlessly, presses aggressively and is capable of arriving late in the box. After establishing himself in the Championship, he heads into the new season as an important part of Swansea's midfield.
Liberato Cacace, Wrexham - Championship
Cacace is an attacking left-back who combines defensive aggression with an appetite for getting forward. He is comfortable carrying the ball into advanced areas, overlapping and delivering crosses, while four seasons of Serie A experience with Empoli have given him considerable pedigree. Now settled at Wrexham, he will be looking to make another strong contribution at Championship level.
Max Crocombe, Millwall - Championship
Crocombe is an experienced, imposing goalkeeper who has spent much of his career working his way through the English football pyramid. At 1.94m, he provides a commanding presence in the box and is particularly comfortable dealing with crosses and high balls. After making his Championship debut, the veteran All White has an opportunity to establish himself at Millwall.
Matthew Garbett, Peterborough United - League One
Garbett is a versatile, attack-minded midfielder capable of playing as a No.6, No.8 or No.10. He likes getting forward, combining with teammates and contributing around the penalty area. His 2025–2026 season was disrupted by a foot injury that ultimately ruled him out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but he remains at Peterborough and will be looking to make a full return in League One.
Ben Waine, Port Vale - League Two
Waine is a mobile, hard-working striker who combines intelligent movement with a willingness to press and run the channels. He can stretch defences with his pace but is also comfortable competing physically with centre-backs. After Port Vale's relegation from League One, Waine now has the opportunity to lead the line and help the club bounce straight back.
