Tamworth preparing to shock Ange's Spurs
Andy Peaks insists Tamworth has "earned the right to be here" as it prepares for a dream FA Cup third-round tie with Ange Postecoglou's Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
One of the standout match-ups of the round pits the National League side against the Australian's men at Lamb Ground.
Peaks' side, which occupies 16th place in the fifth tier of English footbal, has already taken out Huddersfield Town and local rival Burton Albion to reach this stage.
It now looks to become only the third non-League side to beat a Premier League opponent in the competition.
Luton Town achieved the feat when it stunned Norwich City in 2013, with Lincoln City then beating Sean Dyche's Burnley four years later.
"We've been on a fantastic journey, and it's one we're all proud of," Peaks said. "And we've earned the right to be here.
"The club wasn't in a great place three years ago, but there are smiles back on faces in the town, and I'm really proud of that, seeing all the press, TV and radio here.
"We all love football, you just have to enjoy it. And we've worked so hard to get here, even against Robbie Savage's Macclesfield in the fourth qualifying round, against a full-time team. That was a real tough game.
"But we got through that, then the Huddersfield game live on the telly, Tom Tonks' long throw and all that, and then the local derby at Burton."
On the game ahead, he added: "We actually probably know more about Tottenham than we do any other team in our own league, as they're on the telly so often. I've been down to watch two games at their place. Spurs have been as good as gold with us.
"Obviously, we don't know what team they'll play on Sunday, but I don't think they'll be coming here wanting to lose. And there has already been great play about Ange wanting to win a trophy this season."
Postecoglou knows Tottenham will face a highly motivated opponent looking to cause one of the biggest upsets in the competition's 144-year history, but he does not expect his players to take the game lightly.
"I have no doubt about the attitude of the players. All the boys have a great understanding that every game is important," he said.
"We go into [the] game with the same sort of mindset of making sure that we do things that we can control and a big emphasis on things we do really well.
"There's always challenges out there. I'm sure Tamworth will think it's a great opportunity for them and we have to be ready for that."
Asked if the visit to Lamb Ground, which holds 4,963 people with around 500 seated, would come as a shock to his players, Postecoglou said: "They are not multi-million dollar players.
"They are human beings who are very understanding. They are good people. Most of them have come from places like that, some worse than that.
"They will go there and respect the fact that Tamworth are going to build it up for the biggest game of their lives probably. I'm sure they will do their best to create an atmosphere where they will be proud of their ground and their facility.
"I don't really think that's an issue for us. What is important for us is to prepare ourselves for an important cup game."
Tottenham has progressed from each of its past nine FA Cup ties against non-League teams, with its most recent defeat coming when only two Football League divisions existed, against Norwich City in 1914-1915.
Despite the FA Cup having its detractors, Postecoglou still believes in the fabled 'magic' of the world's oldest cup competition.
"I still think it's a really important competition," he said. "It includes pretty much every tier of football and there's always great storylines within it.
"There have been already such stories in the early rounds of the cup and we are meeting a side that has come through the early rounds.
"I still think the cup final day is a marquee day on the global football calendar. I feel like it's a really important tournament that maintains the right kind of traditions."
