Barcelona focused on Betis and extending lead
Hansi Flick insisted that Barcelona's full focus remains on extending its lead at the summit of the LaLiga standings ahead of its UEFA Champions League quarter-final next week.
Barcelona faces Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of its last eight tie on Tursday (AEDT), but first welcomes Real Betis to Lluis Companys Stadium on Sunday (AEDT).
"We always focus on the next game, we don't look at Dortmund, far from it. We are focused on Betis and on getting fresh legs tomorrow," Flick said.
Barcelona is chasing a quadruple of major trophies this season, having already lifted the Supercopa de Espana against rival Real Madrid in January.
It also booked a place in the final of the Copa del Rey, where it will face Madrid once again, and is among the favourites to win the UEFA Champions League.
"I have the feeling that the team now believe in themselves. My job is to remind them that we have to play and show what we are worth on the pitch," Flick said.
"We fight for everything, we believe in ourselves and we want to win every competition.
"It's a long journey, there's still a long way to go (in LaLiga). There are nine games left. They are games that can be won or lost.
"There are other teams who are in the fight and who have the quality to win the title, not just Madrid and Barca."
Flick also confirmed that Gavi would be available to face Betis, with the midfielder missing the Copa del Rey semi-final win over Atletico Madrid in midweek.
"It's going to be a difficult game. We saw that in the Copa, too. The result didn't represent how the match went. We have to play at our best against them," Flick added.
"We have to manage the players' load and tomorrow we'll see what happens."
Flick's team is currently three points clear of second-placed Real Madrid on the table and enjoying a nine-game winning run in LaLiga.
Indeed, it is the club's longest streak under a single coach in the competition since March 2016, when now Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique was at the helm and won 12 straight.
But Betis, which sits sixth in the division, comes into the fixture with confidence, having won its past six LaLiga fixtures.
Should it force an upset, it will establish its own longest winning streak in the top flight, which was also six in 1934, 1960 and 2018.
