Juventus owns Turin after derby victory
Juventus maintained the pressure on Milan's top two in Serie A with a clinical 2-0 victory over Torino in the Derby della Mole.
But Juventus goals came from corners, with Federico Gatti and Arkadiusz Milik scoring to put the Old Lady in third place in Serie A behind AC Milan and Inter Milan.
The win improved Juve's unbeaten run to 17 matches against Torino in Serie A, and in truth the result never looked in doubt.
Despite the positive signs, coach Massimiliano Allegri still refuses to hype any expectations on his side.
"The objective remains the same. That doesn’t preclude us from looking at other things, because naturally, we are Juventus," he said, maintaining his goal of a top our finish before any thoughts of a tilt at the title.
"We must keep our feet on the ground and bring back what for many years was normality at Juventus, in other words winning games."
