Abraham late show seals derby delight for Milan
Tammy Abraham's stoppage-time strike completed a stunning turnaround for AC Milan, as it snatched Supercoppa Italiana glory from under the noses of rival Inter with a 3-2 victory in Riyadh.
Sergio Conceicao's side recovered from 2-0 down at Al-Awwal Park to seal the Rossoneri's first triumph in the competition for eight years.
Inter was seeking an unprecedented fourth successive Supercoppa Italiana triumph, and it took the lead in first-half stoppage time through Lautaro Martinez's neat footwork and finish.
It was 2-0 within two minutes of the restart with Mehdi Taremi receiving Stefan de Vrij's pass on the edge of the box, and sliding past Mike Maignan.
However, Milan responded just five minutes later through Theo Hernandez's superb 20-yard free-kick, while the full-back turned provider in the 80th minute with his cross clinically tucked away by Christian Pulisic.
And there was to be one more dramatic twist in the third minute of stoppage time, as Rafael Leao's centre was turned in by fellow substitute Abraham to snatch victory for the Rossoneri.
