Guehi withdraws from England camp with foot injury
England has confirmed that Marc Guehi has left its November training camp as he continues to recover from a foot injury.
The Crystal Palace captain suffered the issue during his club's UEFA Conference League match against AZ, with Guehi "unable to walk" because of a bruise on his foot.
The 25-year-old defender subsequently missed the Eagles' Premier League clash against Brighton and Hove Albion, while he was also absent for England's 2-0 win over Serbia.
Guehi, who has registered one goal and one assist in three FIFA World Cup qualifiers, will miss the Three Lions' final match of their campaign against Albania on Monday (AEDT).
England released a statement that read: "Crystal Palace's Marc Guehi has left the England camp and will not travel to Albania for Sunday's [Monday AEDT] 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
"The defender joined up with the Three Lions at Tottenham Hotspur's training ground earlier this week but has returned to his club to continue his rehabilitation.
"Thomas Tuchel will prepare for the trip to Tirana with a squad of 24."
Palace faces Wolverhampton Wanderers after the international break before crucial fixtures against Strasbourg in the UEFA Conference League and Manchester United in the Premier League.
Manager Oliver Glasner will be desperate for his captain to return sooner rather than later, ahead of a busy winter period, that also includes a Carabao Cup quarter-final against Arsenal.
